why is miles being middle to upper middle class so hard to comprehend? He never had to starve, his parents are happy to buy him art supplies, he never had to steal he never needed donations from the people of New York. Literally, Peter is canonically more broke than Miles.
Miles had enough money on hand to a) feed Peter’s broke millennial ass b) pay for two tickets on that bus out to Evil LabCorp c) pay for three on the way back because you know Gwen Stacy was not carrying cash either. There’s nothing wrong with a character being poor, but there’s a LOT wrong with the racist insistence that a boy is automatically poor because he’s black.
